About Us
S & J Landscaping, Inc., is a family owned and operated business that was established in 1998. Our owner, Jim, started this business as a small one-man crew based in Northport, MI, doing light landscaping projects and lawn maintenance. He slowly began to grow the business and in 2009, was presented with the opportunity to purchase a local nursery. From there the business has only grown allowing us to spend even more time in the hardscape and waterscape industries. We not only provide seasonal maintenance for your property but are able to transform your outdoor spaces for you!

As the owner, Jim takes great pride in all of our jobs. He is out on the job sites working hand and hand with his employees. He believes that owner or not - he should be in the trench's with his employees. He has over 20 years experience within the landscaping industry. From designing outdoor kitchens to seawalls and landscape beds he truly enjoys being outdoors and bringing new life into a property. Jims favorite jobs to do are paver paths and patios. In his free time he enjoys spending time on his boat and chasing his two great danes around!
